HELP NEEDED DESPERATELY
Okay, so.

There's something wrong with Windows Media Player on my computer.

I downloaded a, uh, certain video. It was from like sendspace or something; an .avi file. On my old computer I could open them and watch movies/videos in WMP no problem, but now it'll load the audio so I can hear everything but I can't SEE the actual video. It'll just play those shapes Windows plays by default when you're normally listening to music. I right-clicked the file on the side of the player and it classified it as Audio.

Um. Last time I check, an .avi isn't an audio file. At least not this one.

I'm really pissed off because I wanna watch stuff but it won't let me >( Anyone know how I can fix this?

PORN? :D

XD You might need a certain codec to show the video. How current is your Media Player? It might need a update. I know mine did that, too, and I needed to download a codec pack from their website.

maybe

I JUST GOT MY COMPUTER THREE MONTHS AGO D: all the software on it is new as hell!

I'll see what I can do, though. Codecs are a pain in the ass but I'll see if I can find one. It's just weird that it'll play audio and no video.

Babe, you just need the DivX codec, which I can most certainly send you. I experiened the same thing myself and DivX is an easy install. In addition it means you don't need to get yourself a whole new player application just to watch .avi format files.

;___; that would be amazing, but I don't wanna download crap to my computer. My dad hates that. I might just use that player thingy everyone's going on about.

I definitely use VLC player to watch all my porn. :D

It's a fairly small program and it's really useful anyway. Othe programs always give me problems with .avi files and I don't like looking for codecs.
